Sponsors wary of Cumani ace

Glistening, who has not enjoyed the best of luck so far this season, has been installed as the 6-1 favourite by the sponsors for the totesport Ebor at York on August 23.

The Luca Cumani-trained four-year-old, allotted 8st 12lb in the prestigious handicap, came within a whisker of landing the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot after being heavily backed beforehand.
