NEWMARKET will play host to the International Stakes on Saturday after the British Horseracing Authority worked frantically to re-schedule nine of the races lost from York’s abandoned totesport Ebor meeting.

Luca Cumani hopes to be three-handed in Wednesday’s Totesport Ebor as he bids to land the famous race for the third time since Vicious Circle struck in 1999.

Glistening, who has not enjoyed the best of luck so far this season, has been installed as the 6-1 favourite by the sponsors for the totesport Ebor at York on August 23.
