Christophe Soumillon has recovered from a back injury and will partner Breeders’ Cup Turf winner Shirocco in the StanJamesUK.com Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket today.

He suffered a fall at Marseille on Friday and was forced to give up the ride in the Stan James 2000 Guineas on Araafa, who finished fourth to George Washington in the hands of Alan Munro.
