Washington shortened for 2000 Guineas glory
George Washington has hardened at the head of the market as he bids to justify favouritism and give Aidan O’Brien back-to-back wins in the Stan James 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on Saturday.
Coral have trimmed Ballydoyle’s principal contender into 7-4 from 15-8 after the son of Danehill topped the 14 entries at the final 48-hour declaration stage.
