Punchestown officials delighted with Festival

Officials at Punchestown have hailed this year’s Festival as the most successful ever with record-breaking attendance and on-course betting figures.

More than 85,000 people attended the four-day fixture, up 9.8% compared with 2005, and betting turnover rose by over 15% to in excess of €12m.
