Postman hoping to deliver Scoop6 bonanza

Postman Mark Wylie from Glasgow is in line to complete a monster pay out of nearly a quarter of a million pounds if he can find the winner of the 2.55 race at Haydock on Saturday.

Postman Mark Wylie from Glasgow is in line to complete a monster pay out of nearly a quarter of a million pounds if he can find the winner of the 2.55 race at Haydock on Saturday.

The 38-year-old won the totescoop6 last week, the first time in history the bet has been won on Grand National day, to the tune of £129,988.

And if he manages to find the winner of the Red Square Vodka “Fixed Brush” Novices’ Hurdle Final Wylie will add a further £97024 to his haul.

However, he revealed he was actually cheering home Hedgehunter in the Aintree spectacular last weekend.

“I was cheering on the wrong horse because I thought Hedgehunter would win me £50,” he said.

“I didn’t realise that I had already picked the first five winners and was in fact waiting on Numbersixvalverde.

“I was very disappointed but my mood soon changed when I checked my totescoop6 ticket.”

Wylie will be at Haydock with his family as a guest of the tote.
