Redcar anticipates soft conditions
Soft ground is expected at Redcar tomorrow for their big meeting, featuring the William Hill Lincoln.
“We’ve just had about three millimetres of rain today. It’s still raining and we are expecting a couple more. It’s genuine soft ground now,” said clerk of the course James Sanderson.
“It’s a big day for Redcar tomorrow. We are expecting a good crowd and a good day. We are expecting the odd shower in the morning and a fine afternoon.”
Sanderson believes there will be no draw bias in the big mile handicap.
“I don’t think it matters where you are drawn and in soft ground nine times out of 10 they come up the middle,” he added.
