Top trainers Paul Nicholls and Martin Pipe shared the spoils in the feature Vodafone Gold Cup Handicap Chase in Newbury today.

The judge could not split the Nicholls-trained Cornish Sett, the 5-1 favourite, and Pipe’s Horus (22-1) after a thrilling finish to the Listed contest.
