Officials at Sandown Park will hold a precautionary inspection on Monday to assess prospects for their Boxing Day card, which features the Stan James King George VI Chase.

Clerk of the course Andrew Cooper said: “With a forecast of temperatures in the territory on minus three and minus four for Christmas night we will hold a precautionary inspection at 7.30am on Monday.”
