Walford doubtful for Kingscliff mount

Robert Walford looks set to miss the ride on Kingscliff in the Stan James King George VI Chase at Sandown on St Stephen's Day after he suffered a suspected fractured collar bone.

Robert Walford looks set to miss the ride on Kingscliff in the Stan James King George VI Chase at Sandown on St Stephen's Day after he suffered a suspected fractured collar bone.

The 25-year-old jockey was schooling a horse at Robert Alner’s Dorset yard when the accident happened this morning and he was taken to Blandford hospital for X-rays.
