Inca set for Fairyhouse assignment

Connections of Brave Inca are hoping for more Grade One glory in the Ballymore Properties Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Sunday.

Trainer Colm Murphy confirmed the seven-year-old, who landed the Maplewood Developments Morgiana Hurdle last time out, will be primed for the two-and-a-half-mile event as the gelding looks to register a third consecutive Grade One contest.

“The intention is to run Brave Inca on Sunday if everything goes well with him during the week,” Murphy told the Racing Post.

“Although he won the Morgiana Hurdle last weekend, he will need another race before he goes to Leopardstown at Christmas.

“The Hatton’s Grace is the only race he can go for as we don’t want to send him to England as this stage of the season.”
