Powerscourt retired to stud

Dual Group One winner Powerscourt has ran his last race and will retire to Coolmore’s Ashford Stud in Kentucky.

Winner of the Arlington Million in August and last year’s Tattersalls Gold Cup, the five-year-old was being aimed at the Breeders’ Cup Turf on Saturday week, but was ruled out earlier this week after a setback.
