Three withdrawn from Arc field
A total of 15 horses remain in Sunday’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp after three runners were pulled out at the second forfeit stage.
Konigstiger and Manduro from the German yard of Peter Schiergen and the Czech-trained Darsalam will not take their places in the mile-and-a-half feature.
At present, a maximum of 15 will go to post but there is a supplementary stage tomorrow when owners and trainers can add their horse to the Group One contest for a fee of €60,000.
