Hills targets Champagne again

Killybegs goes in pursuit of earning Barry Hills back-to-back victories in the Group Two intercasino.com Champagne Stakes at Doncaster tomorrow.

Hills was successful in last year’s renewal with Etlaala and looks to have another leading contender after his unbeaten colt hacked up by six lengths at Redcar last time.

Terry Mills will be hoping Close To You bounces back from his sixth-placed finish in the Solario Stakes, having won his previous three races in some style.

Eoghan O’Neill’s Silent Times and Clive Brittain’s Lake Poet complete the line-up for the seven-furlong contest.
