Keys Of Cyprus has a long way to go to mirror the achievements of his half-brother Continent but he nevertheless made an impressive start to his racing career in the Ouse Maiden Stakes at Catterick today.

The David Nicholls-trained three-year-old was easy to back for his belated first appearance and went off at 6-1 but he travelled like the winner throughout the six furlongs.
