Soviet Song to miss Newbury test

Star miler Soviet Song has been scratched from Saturday’s Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes at Newbury after scoping dirty this morning.

Trainer James Fanshawe had hoped to start the five-year-old off in the Group One contest but will now have to wait for the Ridgewood Pearl Stakes at the Curragh on May 21.
