Callan objects to five-day ban

Neil Callan will appeal against the severity of a ban he received at Wolverhampton on Saturday at the Jockey Club tomorrow.

The local stewards found Callan guilty of using his whip with excessive force over the last two and a half furlongs on Nova Tor in the Irish Night Claiming Stakes and suspended him for five days.
