Walsh favourite to be top jockey
Ruby Walsh has been installed as the 7-4 favourite with Paddy Power to be top jockey at the three-day Aintree Festival.
Walsh, who is due to partner John Smith’s Grand National favourite Hedgehunter on Saturday, features ahead of David Johnson’s retained rider Timmy Murphy, who is given a quote of 7-2.
Graham Lee, fresh from success as leading rider at the Cheltenham Festival, is a 4-1 chance and will be bidding to repeat his win in last year’s National aboard Amberleigh House.
