Ludlow delay inspection

Ludlow have put back their precautionary inspection until 9.30am.

Officials were due to walk the track at 7.30am but they have decided to delay the inspection in order to give the meeting every chance of going ahead.

Clerk of the course Bob Davies said: “We went down to minus two last night and it’s still below freezing now. We have a bit of frost but only a very light dusting of snow.

“We just want the temperature to rise a bit and we decided there was no point inspecting at 7.30 as we would probably have to call another one later.”
