Trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies has revealed he is to take the bold step of pointing his highly-touted novice Fundamentalist at the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

The gelding was beaten half a length by Vodka Bleu at Newbury on Saturday after pulling hard and jumping left.
