Membership fails in Capital bid
British challenger Membership could finish only eighth behind Kinetics in the Capital Stakes in Tokyo earlier today.
The Clive Brittain-trained four-year-old was partnered by Kieren Fallon in the mile race but failed to make an impact as locally-trained runners filled the first three places.
Kinetics ran out a half-length winner of the 15-runner race while Yukino Sun Royal was second, with Starry Heaven a further half-length back in third.
