Newcastle to inspect

Newcastle will hold a precautionary inspection at 7.30am tomorrow morning as heavy rain is forecast in the area tonight.

The going at the track is currently soft, heavy in places and although the course is raceable at present, clerk of the course James Armstrong is worried about the adverse forecast.
