Olympic showjumper Cian O’Connor has declined to appear at a prestigious award ceremony tonight after his horse failed a drugs test.

Olympic showjumper Cian O’Connor has declined to appear at a prestigious award ceremony tonight after his horse failed a drugs test.

The gold medal winner was due to receive the top honour from President Mary McAleese at the 2004 ESB/Rehab People of the Year Awards.
