The Peter Chapple-Hyam-trained colt will be trying to follow up his recent July Stakes win in the six-furlong contest at Deauville on Sunday.

John Gosden’s Mystical Land and the Mick Channon-trained Tournedos have also been left in the race, as has Clive Brittain’s Doctor’s Cave, but Aidan O’Brien took out three of his six entries.

Joyce, Oratorio and Desert Tigress were all pulled out, leaving Carnegie Hall, Cougar Cat and Russian Blue representing Ballydoyle.

Andre Fabre’s Group Three winner Layman and Pascal Bary’s Prix Robert Papin winner Divine Proportions lead the home defence.
