Media Puzzle will have his first outing since winning the 2002 Melbourne Cup at the Curragh on Sunday.

Dermot Weld sends the seven-year-old for the Royal Whip Stakes, a Group Two event over a mile and a quarter, after 21 months out of action with leg trouble.

Weld also runs Silver Stakes winner Medicinal, and the three-year-old is the choice of Pat Smullen, with Pat Shanahan on Media Puzzle.

Meld Stakes winner Latino Magic again meets up with Aidan O’Brien’s Solskjaer, who was runner-up in that race.

Recent Listed winner Tropical Lady makes the step up to Group Two level for Jim Bolger, while Red Feather and Trefflich, first and second in the International Stakes at the Curragh last month, meet again.
