Godolphin’s half-brother to multiple Group One winner Russian Rhythm showed signs of inexperience in the seven-furlong contest.

But once the penny dropped, the 4-1 chance made headway to challenge on the outside and only needed pushing out with hands and heels by Frankie Dettori to beat Cape Greko by a neck.

Dettori was completing a 7.5-1 double having taken the opening Levy Board Handicap on Hawridge Prince, the 8-11 favourite.
