Boru represents O'Brien in Coronation Cup
Last year’s St Leger winner Brian Boru tops a field of 15 still in the Vodafone Coronation Cup at today's confirmation stage.
The Aidan O’Brien-trained four-year-old, a disappointing fifth in the Mooresbridge Stakes last time, is the only horse left in the Epsom race by the Ballydoyle maestro.
He could take on Marcus Tregoning’s High Accolade, beaten a length and a quarter when second in the Doncaster Classic last season.
Warrsan, winner of the Coronation Cup last year for Clive Brittain, could try to defend his crown, while the Newmarket handler could also run Dutch Gold in Friday’s Group One race.
Godolphin have three left in the race – Doyen, Leadership and Highest – while Mark Johnston also has three with Bandari, Systematic and Scott’s View.
Barry Hills could run Dubai Irish Village Stakes winner Dubai Success, while Neville Callaghan’s Magistretti is due to make his seasonal bow in the mile-and-a-half race.
The acceptors are completed by Elie Lellouche’s French challenger Vallee Enchantee, the Mick Channon-trained Imperial Dancer and Nerys Dutfield’s Sunny Glenn.
