Millemix heads Lupin field
Aidan O’Brien has scratched Book Of Kings from the Group One Prix Lupin at Longchamp on Sunday but left in Esperanto at the final forfeit stage.
Criquette Head-Maarek saddles her French Derby hope Millemix in the race.
Christophe Lemaire takes the ride on the Prix Greffuhle scorer, whose Chantilly credentials will be well and truly tested with Voix du Nord, the only Group One winner in the field, heading his four rivals.
The field is completed by Andre Fabre’s Valixir, who earned his place in the line-up when taking a Listed event at Maisons-Laffitte last month, and Voix du Nord’s pacemaker, Alcinos.
Patavellian will be back in action in the Prix de Saint-Georges, and has been allotted stall one in the five-furlong dash.
Roger Charlton’s six-year-old was one of the most improved horses in training last year and rounded off a highly-successful campaign with victory over tomorrow’s course and distance in the Group One Prix de l’Abbaye.
