Punters latch onto Godolphin pair

Punters are putting their faith in Godolphin for the Epsom Classics following the Guineas meeting at Newmarket at the weekend.

Snow Ridge and Sundrop boosted their claims for the Vodafone Derby and Oaks by finishing second in the UltimateBet.com 2000 and 1000 Guineas respectively.

Ladbrokes report that Snow Ridge is currently a £140,000 (€107,800) loser for the firm, while Sundrop would take out around £220,000 (€326,500).

“Sundrop was the most significant ante-post mover to come out of the Guineas. She was given a very educational ride and was finishing like an express train,” said the firm’s Balthazar Fabricius.

“Both Snow Ridge and Sundrop were 10-1 for their respective Epsom Classics but are now 7-1 and 3-1 after encouraging displays at Newmarket.”
