Ian Mongan had his appeal against a two-day riding ban dismissed by the Jockey Club today.

Mongan went before the disciplinary panel to contest the decision of the Wolverhampton stewards to ban him after his ride on Scottish Exile who was third in the betdirect.co.uk Classified Stakes on April 24.
