Valleys favourite for Craven success
Three Valleys has been installed as a red-hot favourite by the sponsors to enhance his Classic credentials in the bet365 Craven Stakes at Newmarket tomorrow.
Roger Charlton’s colt is just an 11-10 chance to book a return ticket to Headquarters for the UltimateBet.com 2000 Guineas on the first weekend in May.
The Barry Hills-trained Haafhd, one place behind Three Valleys when third in the Dewhurst, is available at 4-1, as is Jeremy Noseda’s Peak To Creek, winner of the Horris Hill on his final start as a two-year-old.
Richard Hannon’s Racing Post Trophy runner-up Fantastic View is quoted at 6-1, one point shorter than Sir Michael Stoute’s Dewhurst sixth Imperial Stride.
Brian Meehan’s Fancy Foxtrot, who will have the assistance of Frankie Dettori in the saddle, is the 25-1 outsider.
bet365 Craven Stakes: 11-10 Three Valleys, 4-1 Haafhd, Peak To Creek, 6-1 Fantastic View, 7-1 Imperial Stride, 25-1 Fancy Foxtrot.
