Holland ready for Rocket ride

Darryll Holland has been snapped up by Hughie Morrison to partner Ruby Rocket in Saturday’s Dubai Duty Free Stakes at Newbury.

Ruby Rocket was just under three lengths behind the reopposing Majestic Desert when the pair were respectively second and fourth to Carry On Katie in the Cheveley Park Stakes last October.

Holland said this morning: “I won on her first time out at Kempton and I told the owners then that she was at least Listed class and I was delighted when she went on to prove herself even better than that.

“It will be great to get back on her on Saturday and she’s the type of filly to do well this year.”
