Hardy Eustace produced a real shock as he made virtually all to land the Smurfit Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival today at odds of 33-1.

He looked about to be swallowed up by Rooster Booster after the last but found enough on the run-in to beat off last season’s champion by five lengths.
