Bay set to miss Leopardstown

Dancing Bay looks set to bypass the Pierse Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday in favour of a trip to Uttoxeter the previous day.

Trainer Nicky Henderson fears unfavourable weather conditions could lead to problems with the journey to Ireland.

“The forecast is bad at sea and I think we’ll be pushed to get him over there,” he said today.

“So at this time I’m favouring taking him to Uttoxeter on Saturday, should that meeting beat the weather.”
