Swallow odds dive after Leopardstown win
Grey Swallow has attracted further support for the 2000 Guineas and the Vodafone Derby following his impressive victory at Leopardstown on Monday.
Ladbrokes have cut the Dermot Weld-trained colt to 7-1 for the Guineas from 9-1 and to 16-1 from 25s for the Derby.
“We have taken the view that Grey Swallow is a mile-and-a-quarter horse, but punters clearly think differently,” said Balthazar Fabricius of Ladbrokes.
“We have already swallowed some decent bets on the colt.”
Three Valleys has shortened into 10-1 from 14-1 for the 2000 Guineas.
