Holland lands Nevisian ride

Darryll Holland has landed the plum ride on the Michael Bell-trained Nevisian Lad in the Shadwell Stud Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket next month.

Bell is expecting a big run from his Royal Applause colt in the Group One contest as long as the ground does not ride soft, as was the case when he finished last of nine to Lucky Story in the Vintage Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
