Smart German gelding joins Pipe

Maitre Levy, a smart performer in Germany, is to join Martin Pipe for a novice hurdle campaign.

Favourites Racing have recently purchased the five-year-old gelding and their racing manager Graham Skeats said: “Maitre Levy is a big, strong, impressive individual and he will be with Martin Pipe by the end of the month.

“We feel he’s a useful addition to the Favourites Racing stable. I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t prove to be a good National Hunt horse.”

Maitre Levy has been running in Group races for trainer Mario Hofer.
