Dalakhani stretched his unbeaten record to six with a smooth victory in the Prix du Jockey-Club at Chantilly today.

Always travelling sweetly for Christophe Soumillon, the Aga Khan’s colt, trained by Alain de Royer Dupre, was sent on two furlongs out and was quickly clear of his rivals.

Super Celebre, beaten by Dalakhani in the Prix Lupin, put in a token challenge but to no avail as the winner emulated his sire Darshaan who was successful in 1984. Coroner was third.
