McHugh wins on Royal Predica

Outsider Royal Predica has won the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup.

Under amateur rider Seamus McHugh, the 33/1 nine-year-old collared long-time leader Ibis Rochelais going to the final fence and cruised clear to win by 10 lengths.

The 4/1 favourite Ibis Rochelais held on gamely for second with the fast-finishing 40/1 shot Rathbawn Prince third and another Pipe contender Montreal fourth at 12/1.
