Davy Russell is back in action at Catterick today after giving up his only ride at Newcastle on Monday because of an ankle injury.

The Irish-born jump jockey twisted his ankle when taking a heavy tumble when his mount Spider Music jinked right and ran out at the third last in the Bowlands Way Novices’ Hurdle at Ayr on Sunday.
