Timmy Murphy will step in for the ride on Marlborough in the Aon Chase at Newbury on Saturday after Mick Fitzgerald ruled himself out of a return to action from an ankle injury.

Fitzgerald has been sidelined for almost three weeks so Murphy takes the mount on the 11-year-old.
