Janidou heads Pierse Hurdle betting

JP McManus's Janidou is the 7-1 favourite with Paddy Power for the Pierse Hurdle at Leopardstown.

The gelding was cut from 10-1 after attracting support last week.

Next best is Tom Taaffe's Emotional Moment who is a 10-1 chance while Whistling Dixie, from Mary Reveley's Saltburn yard is 11-1.

Meanwhile, officials at Punchestown will hold an inspection at 8am tomorrow to determine whether Wednesday's meeting can go ahead.

They have already abandoned the three planned chases as the course is unfit for racing.

If the fixture gets the nod the remaining races will be divided to form a seven-race card.
