Godolphin buy cup hope Pugin
Godolphin have bought Melbourne Cup contender Pugin, who finished second in Saturday‘s Irish St Leger, it has been announced on their official website.
The four-year-old son of Darshaan finished just one-and-a-half lengths behind winner, and fellow Australian contender, Vinnie Roe in the mile and six furlong event at the Curragh.
Pugin, winner of the Listed Ballycullen Stakes in last month, will now join Godolphin’s Melbourne Spring Carnival team of Grandera, Atlantis Prince, Hatha Anna and Beekeeper.
