Tony McCoy overcame an early scare in his bid to beat Richard Dunwoody’s all-time winners record before scoring aboard Rakaposhi Lass at Newton Abbott today.

The mare made a mess of the first flight in the Pot Black Maiden Hurdle but then lived up to her odds-on billing of 1-5 favourite by running away from Winnie The Pooh.
