Grandera delighted Frankie Dettori by working ‘‘brilliantly’’ in preparation for the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes.

The four-year-old went seven furlongs on the Round Gallop in Newmarket, accompanied by stable-companions Marienbard and Hatha Anna.
