Sohaib gives Hills another Dee Stakes

Sohaib gave Lambourn trainer Barry Hills an incredible 11th success in the Philip Leverhulme Dee Stakes when making all the running under Hills’ son Richard at Chester this afternoon.

The 9-2 chance was challenged determinedly by Sir George Turner and Kevin Darley in the final strides but despite the colts bumping as they came together in the shadow of the post, Sohaib held on by a short-head.
