Three-times Kentucky Derby winning jockey Gary Stevens is to partner Johannesburg in Saturday’s ‘‘Run For The Roses’’ and Jerry Bailey is to ride the other Aidan O’Brien-trained candidate Castle Gandolfo.

The bookings were announced by O’Brien.

‘‘Gary Stevens has been confirmed to ride Johannesburg and Jerry Bailey will partner Castle Gandolfo,’’ said the Ballydoyle trainer.

‘‘Johannesburg and Castle Gandolfo arrived safely in America on Tuesday evening. They landed at Blue Grass Airport and went straight from there to the quarantine barn at Keeneland. Both horses travelled well and seem in good form after their flight.

‘‘Hopefully they will clear quarantine today and we hope to do a canter on the Keeneland track on Friday morning.

‘‘We hope to leave Keeneland early on Saturday morning and go straight to Churchill Downs.’’
