Frankie Dettori was in fine form in Hong Kong today where he landed a domestic Group One sprint on Firebolt before following up on Cheeky at Sha Tin.

The Ivan Allan-trained Firebolt took the second leg of the Hong Kong Sprint Triple Crown, the Centenary Sprint Cup, by three quarters of a length.

Dettori later guided the Peter Ho-trained Cheeky to a nose success in the Sound Print Handicap.

Success in the Hong Kong Derby eluded Dettori (ninth on Golconda), although the Ivan Allan stable still came good with Olympic Express.

One of three Allan runners, the British import (the former James Fanshawe-trained Ecclesiastical) excelled to win by three and a half lengths.
