Racing: Foly set for Ladbroke trophy
Foly Pleasant is an intended runner in the Ladbroke Trophy Chase at Cheltenham on January 26, trainer Henrietta Knight has revealed.
He was last seen when finishing a three-length runner-up to Shooting Light in the Thomas Pink Gold Cup at Prestbury Park on November 17.
That boosted by Shooting Light’s subsequent victory in the Tote Silver Cup at Ascot just before Christmas.
Miss Knight added: ‘‘There should be more cut than in the Thomas Pink because we’ve had rain since then. Jim Culloty will ride and the horse is in good form at home.
‘‘He liked Cheltenham the last time he went there and we hope that he’ll run a big race.’’
