Today's tips: Progressive Capri poised to go one better at Galway

It’s day six at Ballybrit and Capri gets the nap to take the one-mile maiden for trainer Aidan O’Brien and jockey Seamie Heffernan.

The apparent second choice of three runners for the stable in a seven-furlong maiden at the Curragh on his only previous outing, he stayed on strongly into a close second behind the experienced Arcada, with his highly-regarded stable companion Taj Mahal in third place.

While the form of that race hasn’t been properly tested, the front three were quite some way ahead of the remainder and Capri was the only one of the first three not to have a previous outing.
